The arctic grade D8266 is a high gain, single output UHF frequency MULDIPOL™ omni-directional antenna for both civil and military applications.  Its internal components are enclosed in a ‘Graphite Grey’ heavy-duty fiberglass radome with a coating specifically designed to minimize ice accretion on its surface.  This rugged communications antenna was designed for ground-air-ground,  air traffic control and base deployment in the world’s harshest climates.
