Description
Xeta9 Ethernet Radio
The Xeta9 Ethernet radio is a highly versatile and efficient industrial Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) and Digital Transmission System (DTS) operating at 900 MHz, utilizing a software-defined radio (SDR). It is available either as a board-level component mounted on a plate or as a fully enclosed unit. This module features XetaWave’s patent-pending Dual Decode Digital ArchitectureTM, which significantly enhances receiver performance.
Key features include:
– Support for multiple modulation schemes, allowing for selective switching to optimize data throughput based on available channel size and environmental noise.
– MultiSpeed MultiPointTM mode, enabling Endpoints with varying over-the-air data transfer rates to communicate with a single Access Point within the same network.
– Precise control of transmission timing in networks with multiple Access Points is achieved through Multi-Master Synchronization to prevent self-interference.
Additional specifications:
– High-speed over-the-air data transfer rates ranging from 57 kbps to 4.4 Mbps.
– Dual-band operation across 902 to 928 MHz ISM and 928 to 960 MHz MAS.
– Selective modulation options including MSK, FSK, PSK, and QAM.
– Adjustable RF output power ranging from 50 mW (+17 dBm) to 1 Watt (+30 dBm) for ISM, and up to 3 Watts (+34.8 dBm) for MAS.
– Network types include Point to Point, Point to Multi-Point, and CSMA Peer to Peer.
– Dual mode supporting both frequency hopping and single-channel operations.
– Secure over-the-air data encryption with 128-bit and 256-bit AES.
– MultiSpeed MultiPoint capability for Access Points to interact with Endpoints operating at different RF data rates.
