Description

The Laird (TE Connectivity) FG4607 is a high-performance fiberglass omnidirectional base station antenna covering 460–470MHz, tuned to a 465MHz centre frequency, with 7dBd of gain for extended range coverage. It uses Laird’s collinear J-pole design with precision copper-clad elements sealed inside a durable, UV-inhibiting white fiberglass radome, mounted on a heavy-wall, gold anodized 1¼” aluminium sleeve that won’t oxidize over time. Standing 107 inches tall and rated for up to 200W maximum power at 50 ohms impedance, this is a serious antenna for high-power UHF base station applications including two-way radio, SCADA, and telemetry sites, and it’s DC grounded for added lightning protection. It’s built to survive winds up to 125mph and terminates in a recessed N female connector for a secure, weatherproof coax connection. This model is not supplied with a mounting bracket — pair it with the Laird FM2 mounting kit (or FM1, FM3, FMS9, or FMW4 depending on your mounting surface) for a complete installation.
