Description
The Laird (TE Connectivity) GPS15MGSMA is a compact, low-cost active GPS antenna designed to receive standard GPS broadcast signals across the 1574.42–1576.42MHz band, centred on 1575.42MHz. With 4dBic of peak gain and right-hand circular polarisation, it delivers reliable GPS reception in a small, IP67-rated black housing suited to permanent outdoor mounting. It’s supplied with a magnetic base for quick vehicle-roof or metal-surface mounting, plus an adhesive option for non-metallic surfaces, and terminates in an SMA male connector on the end of a 23ft (7m) length of RG-174 cable. Operating on 3-5V DC through its active LNA, it’s a straightforward, budget-friendly GPS antenna for vehicle tracking, telemetry, and asset tracking applications where a compact, easily-mounted antenna is needed with a generous cable run back to the receiver.
