Rated to withstand a 10,000A impulse wave discharge across 5 repeated strikes, it’s engineered to survive multiple lightning events rather than a single hit. With a 230V DC breakdown voltage and DC-6GHz frequency coverage, it passes DC power through the coax, making it suitable for systems with remote amplifiers or other DC-over-coax equipment, in addition to standard 900MHz and 2.4/5GHz WLAN applications. Insertion loss stays low across the band at 0.1-0.4dB max, with VSWR better than 1.4:1, so it protects equipment without materially degrading signal performance.
